Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing complex regulatory projects, directs overall team activities and monitors progress
- Working with other cross-functional managers to develop a core working team for each project
- Actively participating in enterprise-wide programs
- Communicating with senior management and resolving conflict through broad decision making
- Managing entire project lifecycle from initiation to closing
- Managing the budget
- Defining purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, and deliverables; managing the overall project plan
- Utilizing a rigorous process of defining client requirements and project specifications
- Working with stakeholders to identify and staff project resources
- Communicating with senior management regarding project progress and recommendations/decisions
- Developing effective presentations and project update materials suitable for senior executives
- Resolving conflict through broad decision making
- Monitoring projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process and taking corrective action as necessary
- Closely partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Controls
- Promoting and monitoring compliance of policies and procedures
- Ensuring proper controls are in place
Skills/ Competencies
The ideal Project Manager will possess these skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of program and project management experience required
- Compliance or Regulatory experience preferred
- Understanding of Commercial Banking systems and tools strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency with project management methodology and the project management lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority
- Strong team-orientation and leadership skills
- Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
- Proficient with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop strong client relationships
- Project Management Certification a plus
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
Employment Type: long-term contract
