Our client is a leading global investment bank with one of the largest client bases in the world. Position Description
- Responsible for reporting LOB financial results
- Provide support in monitoring of actual vs. forecast and plan through the close, investigating and validating variances to forecast, associated drivers and implications
- Partner with LECs, Financial Controllers, Business Managers and Product counterparts
- Active engagement in the NBIA process
- Preparation of management reports, variance analysis and performance metrics
- Assist with the Month-End close process, assess adequacy of accruals and reserves, analyze and understand balance sheet and income statement
- Review and improve key processes to ensure processes are efficient and effective
- Continuous improvement of the control environment. Close partnership with the Investment Bank controls officer team to identify key controls and metrics and manage subsequent project plans to achieve resolution
- Responsible for management and oversight of accounting activities, including review of general ledger
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

- Hours: Core hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM
