Job Description
Commercial Banking Project Management Office (PMO) provides solutions and delivery on project initiatives and investments across the LOB.  The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading a complex regulatory project for International Banking.  Initiatives include building country rules library control processes, reviewing procedures, mitigating cross-border risk.


 


The ideal Commercial Banking Regulatory Senior Project Manager will:




  • Manage complex regulatory projects, direct overall team activities, and monitor progress


  • Work with other cross-functional managers to develop a core working team for each project


  • Actively participate in enterprise-wide programs, representing CB


  • Communicates with senior management and resolves conflict through broad decision making


  • Manage entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closing


  • Manage budget


  • Define purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, and deliverables; manage the overall project plan


  • Utilize a rigorous process of defining client requirements and project specifications


  • Work with stakeholders to identify and staff project resources


  • Communicate with senior management regarding project progress and recommendations/decisions; develop effective presentations and project update materials suitable for senior executives. Resolve conflict through broad decision making


  • Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process and taking corrective action as necessary


  • Closely partner with Legal, Compliance, and Controls.  Promote and monitor compliance of policies and procedures.  Ensure proper controls are in place

Qualifications




  • Minimum of 10 years of program and project management experience required


  • Compliance or Regulatory experience preferred


  • Understanding of JPMC and CB systems and tools strongly preferred


  • Strong proficiency with project management methodology and the project management lifecycle


  • Excellent communication skills


  • Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority.  Strong team-orientation and leadership skills.  Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups


  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Ability to develop strong client relationships


  • Project Management Certification a plus


Additional Details




  • Hours:  Core hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM


  • Employment Type: 6+ month contract


  • Limited medical and dental coverage for contractors and their families available immediately
